Agreement to Terms
By using our services at TimberGuard Blacksburg Tree Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use our services. We provide professional tree care services in Blacksburg, VA and surrounding areas, and these terms explain how we work together with you.
Services Provided
We offer tree removal, trimming, stump grinding, emergency services, and other tree care solutions for residential and commercial properties. Each service is customized to your specific needs. We'll provide you with a detailed estimate before starting any work, and we won't proceed without your approval.
Estimates and Payment
All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days. Final pricing may vary if conditions change or if we discover unexpected issues during the work. Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements are made in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
Property Access and Safety
You grant us permission to access your property to perform the agreed services. We'll take reasonable care to protect your property, but we're not responsible for pre-existing damage or underground utilities that aren't properly marked. You should contact utility companies before we start work if there are concerns about underground lines.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice. For emergency services, different terms may apply. Weather conditions may require us to reschedule work for safety reasons, and we'll notify you as soon as possible.
Liability and Insurance
TimberGuard Blacksburg Tree Service carries full liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. We're responsible for damage caused by our negligence during service delivery. However, we're not liable for damage resulting from hidden defects in trees, acts of nature, or conditions we couldn't reasonably foresee.
Permits and Regulations
You're responsible for obtaining any necessary permits required by local authorities. We can advise you on permit requirements, but it's ultimately your responsibility to ensure compliance with local regulations. We'll work according to industry standards and local codes.
Warranty and Guarantees
We stand behind our work. If you're not satisfied with our services, contact us within 7 days and we'll work to make it right. However, we can't guarantee the health or survival of trees after pruning or other services, as many factors beyond our control affect tree health.
